A Series of Events
Microcars and minicars are a delight for people of all ages. Teeny Tiny Productions brings these small cars to historic urban settings to display, enlighten and entertain while promoting the city's neighborhoods. The free, open-to-the-public events include:
The Très Petite Concours: Exhibitions of Micro & Minicars are “museums on wheels”, exhibitions of 15-20 vintage cars from local collections emphasizing compact size, fuel efficiency and curb appeal. “People’s Choice“ Awards will be presented.
The Petite Concours: The Art of Small Cars Invitationals are judged car shows with 40-60 different vintage microcars and minicars circa 1950s & 1960s. Car enthusiasts from the area will be invited to participate and exhibit their vehicles. Esteemed members of the car collecting community – enthusiasts, media, museums, manufacturers – will judge the vehicles. There will also be a “People’s Choice” judging. An “Awards Ceremony” will close the show.
Other Events Details
A sampling of the cars that will be exhibited and shown include BMW Isetta, Citroën Deux Chevaux (2CV), and Fiat Cinquecento, reminiscent of Luigi in the animated film Cars. “Docents” and car owners will be on-hand to answer questions and share information. All cars will have car specifications displayed, including country of origin, year of manufacture, engine size, fuel efficiency as miles per gallon.
